Assistant AU Pomni ref
I remade my Assistant AU design of Pomni (combination with the cat Pomni post from a few days ago) and I really like this design. Feels official yet on crack which is what I was going for. Anyway in this AU, Pomni is given the role of a part-time assistant and remodeled, the sudden remodeling and new position causes her sanity to go down a level (though nowhere near abstraction yet, that's much more severe and prolonged in my headcanon) and her more manic/anxious/self-destructive tendencies become more apparent. I gave her some body dysmorphia in this AU because I can't be alone in feeling like I have limbs that never existed sometimes (supernumerary phantom limbs manifested via the power of thought wooo). The catlike traits, I imagine there's got to be some more dissociation from her form in this version than canon because of the extra nonhuman attributes. Honestly idk what I was thinking other than I like Pomni, I like cats, Pomni has some cat coded behavior so why not? I want this AU to feel like a somewhat surreal interpretation of a psychological horror fever dream. I already have a lot of my own original stories with my own universes but making AUs of things I like is also fun.Jan 7, 2024#tadc
