Dale wip
Sorry for long rant post, just need to get it out heheDale's been brewing in my head for a long time. Had to throw down some hard lines to get a guide, not comfortable with lineart. He's important to me and hard to get right, buy I think I'm getting there. Need him to be plain but still have a personality, and I think that's hard. Not looking at references out of spite, but still unsure about jawline and nose.. And eyes :) And hate to draw hair, but his supposed to be low maintenance. I want him to have a square face, bc in by head it looks sturdy (?)
Some of Dale's trates, nuances gets lost in translation hehe:
- 35 years
- obidient, bc he's given up, there's no way out. That makes him look like a machine for those who don't know him, but they could't be more wrong. He has just addapted to his suroundings.
- kind to the new ones. Dale know how hard it is to get used to the collar and regime
- patient, an unbelievable patient guy, especially to the shit the new ones tries to pull, so he often gets paired up with the difficult ones (looking at you, M502R)
- not a close combat fighter, but can both take and give a blow if it comes down to it.Apr 16, 2022

Nice profile. :) Now I'm no anatomy expert and I know facial structures can vary infinitely, but I think you can still extend the lips and chin forward (a tad bit to the right) and add a small connecting arc below the nose that connects to the area above the upper lip... I hope that helps.

I think if he is so chill and patient and obedient, you should change his base expression to be more neutral or a lil sad-looking.
You can play with his cheekbones too, not only with the jaw to have a desired square shaped face. Even with hair too. For example it’s still short. But strictly cut. It can help to make him look even more sturdy
