@peachyprotist's post on Artfol
I wrote more stories and I wish I can post it here.
Real question, which website is the best to share stories? (Both long and short). Preferably not fanfic-based, and somewhere I can include images in the writings with a lil bit of formatting? Suggest some please if you know!
Btw this was the one I just finished (Joren flashfic): https://www.deviantart.com/peachyprotist/art/Twinkee-Tale-Flash-Fiction-1120926246 (I'm just using dA for now for my stories)Nov 12, 2024

I use ao3 for the original works section and the fact that people who want to read my work use it. That said I am very shy and don’t post often. I think I’ve had 6 people look at my work

•Ao3. And yes I know, mostly know for it's fanfiction. But there is a whole "original work" slot just sitting there. It's so lonely. Well, not really, it seems pretty active when I check it. And uploading images is so easy. First, I use postimages to host my work, it has not failed me in over three years now. If you create a account, you can look back on your works, but you don't have to. Several of my arts are lost in the great void, but still show up just fine in my old fics. Then, when you upload your image, you want to copy the direct link. It's the second one from the top. Once you do that, hop in to ao3, set up your words, then switch to rich text. There should be a icon in the tool bar that looks like picture. You just paste your link into the little bar, and tada, image. Don't bother resizing, even if it looks huge, that happens automatically when you post. Most of my stories have pictures these days, usually about three per chapter. Never had a problem yet. And getting invited to ao3 isn't hard, they sent me my email in a couple days. This may or may not entice you, but yah know, worth a shot
