Ghaen (dnd)I finally added color to it; I can't believe it took me all day. This is a character from a dnd tableI just finished. I had the line art done months ago, but due to various projects, I hadn't gotten around to coloring it until now.
This campaign was loosely inspired by Madoka Magica, specifically the fact that our characters only had power in the "Dream World," which was ruled by a demon who granted us powers in exchange for bringing him negative energy, which he then consumed to grow stronger.
When you died in this world, your "concept" was erased, so you didn't die physically, but everything that made you who you was erased forever, like your memories and personality. One player's character ended up in a coma because of this.
My character was a cleric, but shortly after the campaign started, he got a pistol, and I ended up splitting him into a ranger. He actually has a shield that floats around him, but I didn't want to draw it.
The idea behind the black spots is that, initially, our characters were affected by the concepts of other beings, merging with their own.
I got a ghost, so I could pass through objects,, and part of my character seemed to dissolve into thin air. I came up with the idea of adding black spots as a way to show how I was gradually corrupted by this process, since if we didn't find a cure, we would all become the concepts we had fused with, for me my character would die and become an actual ghost.Jun 16, 2026
