AAAAAAHHHH I HAD SO MUCH FUN DRAWING THESE TWO!!!!
Ralph and Soot have such an incredibly charming dynamic that I completely fell in love with them!! Ralph's warm, optimistic energy paired with Soot's sassy little gremlin attitude is such a PERFECT combination, and every bit of their lore made me smile. I absolutely adore the whole concept of a magical detective solving mysteries while trying to keep the magical world hidden—it scratches every detective-loving part of my brain!!
I especially wanted to capture that feeling of excitement and adventure, with Ralph fearlessly chasing the next clue while Soot enthusiastically points him in the right direction (whether Ralph asked for directions or not
).
I really hope I did these lovable goobers justice!! Thank you so much for creating such delightful characters, and I hope you enjoy this attack as much as I enjoyed making it!!
