LGBTQ+ Supports BLMThis piece is from May 30th, 2020 and is still relevant. Black lives have mattered, still matter, and will always matter.

Stonewall was a riot - one that was invited by POC who would not tolerate mistreatment by the police. Oppressors pretend that silent, unseen protest is the only acceptable thing to do because keeping us quiet makes it easier to ignore the horrors of injustice. Do not be fooled. Historically, going big and loud is the only way to make real change happen. And we have a duty to amplify the voices of our Black siblings and make sure the world is still listening. The first Pride was a riot led by queer people of color. If you refuse to support Black Lives Matter today, don't celebrate pride tomorrow.

YES!! I also hate that people think that just because we say “no police brutality” that means “all police are bad.” some people think all police are bad, but a lot of people who support BLM and ending police brutality don’t think all police are bad. people who don’t support it think that all of us think that.
