“Purgatorial” - N4x6 48 by quirkandquill
“Purgatorial” is the forty-eighth piece in my abstract Nashville 4x6s digital art series and was another experiment in wanting to focus on making a black-and-white artwork, since I surprisingly haven’t done too many black-and-white pieces in this series so far! Usually black-and-white pieces tend to be some of my favorites, and I find them a little bit easier in some ways just because it’s focusing on working with values (and even then I tend to go pretty extreme towards absolute white and absolute black so, not a whole lot of values in between that I’m working with oftentimes) and also not having to deal with the added infinite possibilities of color so much, so sometimes it’s quite relaxing to do something without color once in a while!
