10s, 30s, 1 min, 5 min challenge• Draw something in 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, then 5 minutes! • Best if you start over each time • Doesn't have to be same thing each time (it's just cool to see the different decisions you make on the same thing with different time limits) • Any medium, any subject. Does not have to be a figure, could be a pattern, anything, etc. (use appropriate filters if necessary) • Have fun!
● Bonus challenge: Use a permanent medium or don't erase (I erased a bit in the 5 min one and...I like the other ones better hahaha)

This came from my gesture drawing exercise (read "OLD exercise, because I haven't done it in a while & need to get back into it") It was just a series of 30 sec gestures, 1 min ones, 5 min, then 20 min or longer figure study. (Back when I had time) It was best if a time was blocked out to get all of them done in one go, so it was done rapid fire and left little time between to "fix" them, focusing on gesture for the shorter ones. If you would like to improve your gestures, this kind of exercise may help!Jun 17, 2023
I tried this just now but I draw too fast. I had to come up with some way to continue drawing for the full 5 minutes and ruined the drawing in the process lmao. Maybe I’ll try it again and post my second attempt.
