Gany againThis is one of those pieces I come back to every once in a while to update it, so if you feel like you've seen this before, you probably have!
Ganymede is an "angel" from one of my stories. In quotes because the angels aren't really angels, and humans can't pronounce their language, so they just call them that. When they first arrived, they helped exact justice, so people liked them. But due to several incidents escelating into a war between half of the angels and the humans, they are now despised. Despite only half of the angels siding against humanity, all angels are the same now in many human eyes.
Gany is in a semi-binding contract with a human, meaning he serves both her and his original master. This makes him an outcast among both humans and angels, and gives his wings an x-ray type of look when not illusioned. As seen here:

I don't know if I commented this before, but holy fudge, he looks so freaking cool!!! I love his eyes, outfit and wings! He looks menacing and neat! Also, he was drawn 4 years ago?? That a crazy progress. The artwork looks so nice, but it's awesome to see how much your art changed.

Gonna snoop on tje link you gave to jump start wing memory, but the consept with the swords and hands are so cool! Sounds like Gany is in a real squeese when he's an outcast from the angels, but also not popular with the humans:( is there a story to how/why the wings are affected? Is it bc of the outcast problem or the double contract?
