A long lived friendGiants were biological miracles but never lived long nor never really did much other than break records when It came to who has lived the longest. A long-lived friend of Vile definitely held the award for largest and longest living giant in current times.

Cared for by the thousands of birds that lived in the colossal trees of the forest, he lived for almost two centuries despite not being able to move much for a good half of his lifetime to the point even moss that grew on trees originally, took their tiny roots (well, rhizoids) and anchored themselves on his clothes, skin and even his beard. He was a close friend not just to the immortal Vile but to the million years old forest as well.

Apparently he had hidden a time capsule under his own body and layers of moss- a box somehow crafted to last for centuries, contained old tomes, manuscripts and books his species left behind when population densities started to decline, a welcome gift to the collector who he knew would visit again and would appreciate the information his kind had gathered over the thousands of years giants had roamed the earth.

Ps. "Giant's" average height is 11 feet tall. Though, rarely, some get amazing yet dangerous mutations that help them reach heights greater than 20 feet. Despite their colossal size, practically it's not ideal: the bigger you get, the less mobile you become.. thus unable to help with hunting and gathering. In their case, they were used as a whole community's memory bank before writing was a thing- entrusted with information passed down for generations.
