Most would kill to be related to one of the Ancients: powerful deities who shaped the lands why call home. Beings of pure power they can wipe out and restart the world if they were bored.
For some, their bloodline to the Ancients are praised and can even unlock the powers they had so they too can claim their place with the gods. Others don’t have a special connection to them at all, and just because they’re related doesn’t mean they have to do all of that.
Those with that blood are the lucky ones.
The most feared of the Ancients, One of Time, has definitely solidified their reign over all others with their legacy and generations of powerful and great leaders.
Time, their general name as they go by many others, could control the passage and the flow of it with a flick of their wrist. Those who are deemed worthy in their Trial can adapt to a fraction of their power, but their descendants? Well, if you think the slight power you can wield is strong, then the descendants are overkill.
Their mortal form can only hide so much, but even one look at them back then you could tell they had some immense power in them.
