

Long Beach Preliminary Scheme AA-1
The smallest and also the last Long Beach preliminary proposal essentially a CONAG version of the Y design but on an even shorter hull. The Addition of the Gas Turbine funnel, air intakes and the Regulus launcher meant only 2 such missiles could be carried and the Terrier guidance radars had to be repositioned (an increased in number) to provide enough coverage.The design had these characteristics:
