Redraw 3Two years ago I posted a redraw of an artwork I was very proud of at the time and was amazed with my growth. I’ve decided to redraw this one again two more years later. I made some small changes to represent my art style now and preferences including using colored pencil rather than digital art. I love it! You clearly feel comfortable with using coloring pencils and it shows in the final product! The colors you've picked are bold and in your face but not in a bad way if you ask me. They grab your attention and keep it there. The red in the bg and green would've clashed if it was done with pencils tho. The difference in texture is what saves it. Something to keep in mind.
My advice would be to practice anatomy. I adore the face and the features, they look distinct and interesting. The ear looks a bit out of place. The head looks like its tilted at an angle while the ear looks like the head is facing straight.
And the body is a bit too small for the head. It looks like it keeps getting smaller the further from the head it goes. If it is a stylisation thing you need to exaggerate it a bit more because it doesnt read like a conscious choice.
Another small thing is that the back of the headphones should be closer to the neck cause gravity is pulling it down, and the neck is what stops them from falling off.
Over all the improvement is clear. I love how you play with texture and patterns, and I respect your use of traditional media, I would probably go insane with how time consuming it can be so kudos to you, mate! Keep up the good work, you're on the right path!
