Backgrounds can be so tricky. You did great on perspective. The background feels a little flat compared to your character. You have pretty distinct shading on the person. The lighting that is affecting your character should also be indicated in the background. So I’d push that contrast like you did with your character. making the end of the lanes a little darker may help make it feel further away. This is purely based off of your aesthetic choice but i would recommend doing similar line work on the background that you did for your character. It could help connect the composition as a whole.
