REDESIGN YOUR CHARACTERS #1Hi guys, it's been a while! Do you remember that old post with the redesigns? I do)
The first victim will be @AtheImpostor character Leonque. Oooh, watch out
Honestly, I searched for references for a long time and meticulously, but drawing was terribly fun! Especially to change and add some details. I chose a delicious character, and I was not disappointed.
(also she looks a little… buff? I dunno why but I like it)
So, let's move on to analyzing the drawing!
The color palette. I really like that the owner of Leonque used a color rectangle in the palette. This is when you choose two colors that are close on the color wheel and two opposite colors. I slightly modified the palette, making it more muted, and added a touch of red for variety.
The dress. For some reason, I thought it would be nice if the dress looked like a Greek dress. So I did, adding some accessories as well.
The horns. I also like the cracks on the horns on the previous design, so I left them.
And there are many other details that I changed.
