THE FIELD OF CHRYSANTHEMUMS | introduction to my storyThe field of chrysanthemums is a place where souls who deserve peace and whom the gods have turned away from go. Chrysanthemums bloom here and the lake shimmers with stars.
The main plot: A servant in a temple named Oolong once died from the teeth of a red-eyed wolf. However, for his boring righteous life, the gods offer him a deal - he will work for the gods as a guide of souls in return for a new life. He has many goals, and in his life he is led by a goddess and an employer named Assa Shin, meanwhile living a life among a strange people, a city, people ... and not people. In his second life, Oolong is a real cynic and egoist by nature, possessing a bad sense of humor and writing a novel about his life.
In his work with the dead, he will forget how to value the living. And who might end up in a field of chrysanthemums? Maybe the smile of a kind jackal with red-yellow eyes is not so true? Who knows..May 26, 2025
