Depends on the OC, but for most of my OCs their partners are their reasons to live.

My main Oc Ella pretty much as no reason to live- idk who would want to when no one wants you alive anyways- but anywayy a guy (Jake) finds her crying one day and becomes her reason to live, As they start dating and continues to be her only reason

Calamity is definitely the motif of "Thrive out of Spite." Homura is much the same. They both have someone they are opposing with their mere existence.

Kagami and Tack were both "saved" by Calamity, therefore simply wish to live long enough to whiteness her life. They both also someday hope to learn what happened to their families...

Blizzard was very much considering ending her existence. Seeing an unimaginable power and determination in a simple mortal made her appreciate "living."

She's had quite a traumatic event in the past so she isn't so motivated to live but she is well aware there's something she has to do because if she doesn't no one will, she wants to create a better place for her brother and for her loved ones (and a tiiiny little revenge). For context she lives in a severely corrupted society and she used to belong to the elite but because she asked too many questions she got 'killed' so now she's a villain trying to destroy that government AND create a better one

I guess I would share some interesting facts.......Little Miss Glitch is the Tv head oc....She's really into fashion and all things cute, she has made lots of outfits over time and they are wonderful, she also into horror, she may not look like she would be that type of person who would be interested in horror, but shes really does love horror....Thats about it for now
