Yeah I remember! I also remember them telling us that you can't stand in front of the microwave while it's on since 'it'll cook your brain from the inside'(this was the 90's though). But you know, hanging 10 hours in the sun half naked without shades and sunscreen? 'pffft it's fine my kids dont burn they tan!' letting your kids swim in a lake though they haven't been taught to swim and neither can you? 'fineee, I'll just fill my crosswords in the shade'. Also, no passenger seats or even seatbelts in the backseat? I don't see a problem XD

Boomers said the weirdest things to us as kids. At the same time, they'll also blame everything but themselves for the collapse of society. I really hope I don't become entitled like that when I'm old.
