Through grit, skill, and determination, you've defeated every opponent in the preliminary rounds, moving into the championship rounds where the fighters go from largely undisciplined street thugs to well-trained combatants with varied techniques and abilities. Still, you survive all challenges until you make it to the final round. Congratulations! You now have the distinguished honor of having your head summarily rammed up your backside by the man most simply refer to as The Boss, Antares Voronov. Voronov is versed in many styles of combat: He is skilled enough with knees, elbows, and throws that getting into a clinch with him is a bad idea. His defense is such that karate, taekwondo, kickboxing, etc. are largely a waste of time and effort. And he has enough joint locks and nerve holds in his arsenal to make you wish you had entered the spelling bee instead. But he's most at home boxing, landing fast and powerful punches with hardened fists that will turn your organs to jello and your bones into something resembling metamucil powder. In other words, it's at this moment that you begin to understand, you f**d up.
I very seldom participate in art challenges because 1) it takes a good deal of extra time and effort, and I'm very slow anyway, and 2) when I enter one, I feel bad for not getting into all the other ones. But this challenge was such a good idea that I had to give it a shot. I sure hope you all like it.Jan 26, 2026

I love the POV, it really feels and looks like he's not a character to mess with. I read on Cara that he is in a cyberpunk universe, if I'm not mistaken? The text gives me like Blade Runner vibes, I like it!

Love the lead up to this round with Voronov too. Imagine getting past all those rounds and realizing they were small fries compared to this guy.
but also the sense of accomplishment if you manage to defeat him after countless tries (or maybe I'd question my life after the hours of gameplay I'd sink into this 
). Artistically, this piece is peak too. The skin/muscle rendering is awesome and even more so after reading your process for it! + the digital fits along side the traditional seamlessly.

•Two things: I meant to mention @bemdraws by name, as this is a submission to his challenge. It took me a long time to do this, but I had a lot of fun. Thanks for the inspiration! Second, the bright blue star is Kasimir, which is the sun of the (still unnamed because I suck) world that Voronov inhabits. And you may be asking yourself, why is it night time when the sun is shining in full force? To that, I would say I really don't know, but it looks pretty cool so maybe don't overthink it.
