Facts about Torvus, Sicarius's home planet:

- the air is 36% oxygen*. That's about twice the amount in Earth's atmosphere. Normal humans cannot breathe the air for long before succumbing to oxygen toxicity. Eslr hosts breathe the air with no problems. More information to come about the oxygen needs of Eslr hosts and how they can survive extended stays on the much-less oxygenated Earth.

- because the air is 36% oxygen, there's a lot of megafauna. Huge reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods abound.

- most of the planet has warm climates. Most common are tropical, subtropical, warm ocean, and warm desert.

- Torvus has two suns and two moons. One sun is a nearby violet dwarf, and the other is a more distant Solar-System-size sun. The two moons are small and nearby. Torvus has faint rings visible on clear nights.

- Torvus seems to be kept warm by some kind of intense geothermal activity in addition to its suns.

- its name means "the savage planet." Upon discovery, most species avoided it due to the hostile environments and toxic atmosphere. Humans colonized it by accident via symbiosis with eslr. Because humans are highly adaptable.

*EDIT notes: changed from 45% after some consideration of chemical reactions on prehistoric earth and subsequently deciding to have Torvus more closely match prehistoric Earth's environments

From my perspective, it'll have to be a good reason why beings who grew up in such an oxygen rich environment don't suffer ill effects on earth. It doesn't take much of a drop in oxygen concentration to put your life in serious danger.

And 45% oxygen concentration on avergae would mean some very spectacualr and very destructive wild fire activity.
