BugsChanged a few lore related things. Might introduce a crucial charecter to the story, a new one too. I made them up 3 months ago and theyre an ant who can use all 3 types of mana. Oh also Tua can do that also now. Nice, connection of the protagonist to the antagonist by shared experiences.
Plus made Amon have a set mana type (yellow „to lead”). Have i ever explained what mana types are? Uuh i dont think so.
So mana (as in the fungus that allows insecs to manipulate reality in a few set ways in return for sustinance) has 3 types: red (to cut), yellow (to lead), and blue (to encase). A bug can have none or one type of mana in its life and the ones with none can be given mana if exposed to the fungus in a ritualistic maner. If you use it more it grows, consumes more resources and makes the user less energetic but also able to make more complicated magic displays (as in encasing a whole city in a protective orb, shout out to Diaan, thats his job).
Ocasionally a bug is able to absorb all types of mana. And Tua is like that, cuz theyre so cool, and so protagonisty. But so is the main evil ant. Ruh roh. Their name is Manie. Cuz mana. Manie. You get it. Dec 27, 2023
