50 Ducks: 29. Proto-Scrooge!
I wanted to draw an early version of Scrooge, so I went for this one from Barks' The Old Castle's Secret! Referenced off the first page, basically (and what was cut off by the panel edge was referenced off Donald - they're identical body-wise anyway).This is the second time I used the gelly roll and you'll see it more often after this. (Whiting out mistakes felt like cheating until I realised that that was a really weird way of seeing it and now I use it occasionally for when I overshoot lines, like on Scrooge's left shoulder.)Jun 8, 2021
