Plein Air April 2023

It is Plein Air April! Make at least one plein air painting/sketch during this month (April)! It can be digital or traditional, any medium counts! This is a regular monthly art challenge that occurs during April. Warrior Painters hosts their own hashtag during plein air April on IG, they have a theme but I just wanna do whatever plein airs I want so I might as well make this a challenge in case anyone else wants to add theirs in the pot. Traditional plein airs are paintings done outdoors. However virtual plein airs have gotten popular especially during the pandemic. In the past, I have personally used Google Street view and will try plein air studies from Youtube walking videos this year. 01 - Iceland - Plein Air AprilI'm not sure how many I'm gonna do. I'm used to doing these around 1 hour but I really feel the need to learn how to tighten up the sketches so idk. I also want to waffle around the idea of putting my Light Witch OC in some of these because I want to get better about putting characters into backgrounds. I want to make these painterly and not too tight but they need to "feel finished" for me.Apr 1, 2023
