i was one of those kids!! i would not say i was a prodigy or like very good or anything but i got an ipad and apple pencil and procreate after like 6 months of doing digital art on ibis on an older gen ipad when i was 12! i think it's just parents financing it

•they have more access to information, good programs, and portable technology than we did!!! if i wanted to do digital art i had to do it on my shared family desktop pc with a tiny wacom intuos tablet, the kids nowadays can practice at school with their ipads and have a lot more access to tutorials and such on youtube :) kinda sucks but hey thats life ig

Ikr. I'm almost 18 and still use my cheap phone and my own finger on the free version of ibispaint x. Age really doesn't mean anything in the art world to be fair.
