Dreadlocks Binta? Another comic? Wow!
So basically Binta assumes that Tori is Tóbar's age, bc they are penpals and research partners. She also never met a person who goes by what's considered "neopronouns", even though for Tori it's just "pronouns". She thinks it's some weird old dude. But turns out it's a weird young dude! And zir smile is very.. cute??This crush takes place, but it's the type that hits hard but is based on looks only, so it doesn't really go anywhere, they just talk it out (badly, bc Binta is bad with feelings and rejection and Tori is bad at socializing) and then start working on a proper friendship. They end up as a chaos trio with Potalia who kinda helps both by accident. Binta finds a friend in him because he's also been through traumatic shit in a misogynistic society and, unlike anybody else, understands her, albeit from a different perspective, and Tori likes crazy things he says, so they form a bond necessary for both. They're all just a bunch of friendless youths that need genuine connections.
Also Binta is sapphic or something, wlw and wlnb, but she doesn't Need a partner anyway, she needs therapy. And Tori needs a healthy sleep schedule.
