MareOk so, I haven't been able to draw recently so I was looking through Pinterest for inspiration (definitely not procrastinating 
) and ended up looking at cool tattoo designs and like piercings and stuff. This brought me to thinking of ocs I could put this stuff on and I thought of Pete, because he has tattoos in his Paragon's design but I'm not drawing my Paragon ocs (basically a bunch of vigilante ocs I made because I was sad there weren't any heros with glasses, it was a whole thing) because I haven't drawn them in so long and need to revamp their designs.
So I decided to give them to Marina since A: It'd be cute if Pete took after his mom when he got older and B: I've been disliking Mare's character and've been contemplating scrapping her, because why draw something I don't enjoy? But, yeah. I still need to come up with some designs for her tattoos but wanted to get an idea of what her new look could be first. Also I drew her nose wrong in that close-up pose since I'm so used to drawing it upturned so that'll be an interesting thing to unlearn.
Anyways, I've also been thinking about making Mare Pete's bio-mom since I scrapped an old storyline where his bio-mom haunted the narrative but I'm kinda attached to her technically being his step-mom.
Man, that's alot of text. I've actually been taking a format writing class this year and've been trying to separate my sentences more but every time i re-read my thoughts in anything but run-on sentences it sounds so stilted. It's kinda funny that I've gotten my best grades in ELA but I'm utter crap at most everything it's made up of. Like I totally respect people that have a way with words, especially writers. Words are so not my forte lmao.Oct 11, 2025
