I feel that, we have a cat who can’t go out but really wants to and she’ll sit and cry at the door. She’s old so eventually tires herself out and stops but maybe try putting on a cat tv show. They have them on YT and our cats really seem to like and be entertained by them.

Trying to distract him with attention etc but he doesn’t seem to want to do anything other than go out in the yard
