What has been the highlight(s) of your year? How would you rate this year so far?
This year I would rate average since it wasn't the best for me health wise. However some highlights are:
️Got a raise at work
️Started dating someone (after many years)
️Reconnected with old friends
️Adopted a pet

My brother got married and I gave the wedding speech
My niece was born and made me an aunt
I went to see the Hamilton musical, the one that got me into musicals in the first place and that I have loved since I was like 14
I made new friends at university and got closer to ones I made previously, one day I went to an empty cinema to watch a kiss movie with two of them and it was a really funny day
I slept over at my friend's house and we binge watched Miraculous and ate dinosaur noodles
also watched the Miraculous movie in the cinema with a different friend, which we have literally waited for since we were 13
I went to my first concert ever, it was by a German singer I have loved since I was a child, Peter Fox
Still voting average year since there were a lot of shitty things too, like me feeling overall really lonely the entire year, drawing only very little, feeling like I'm drifting apart from my best friend plus going to her birthday party for the first time which was supposed to be an amazing experience but just made me feel like our friendship is failing and I'm not that important to her, and lastly of course my childhood dog dying
Pretty good. After a couple years of bad health problems in my family, things are clearly up. As hard as life can get, I'm happy with the things I've gotten and get to do. Loki and Good Omens season 2 came out, I started a Zoom class for literature, and I'm learning to drive :)

Most mid year i’ve ever had. Nothing bad happened but nothing particularly good happened either
Whole year has felt like a loading screen. Will it crash? Or will i move onward to something good? Still wondering

There were terrible moments that made it feel like the worst year but also great ones so I guess I can cancel them out for...average. Some highlights: I reconnected with elementary school peers and now that we're older, they felt guilty for ostracizing me but I meet up with a few often now so we're chill. I also made a friend at the park who introduced me to his friends and they work together as business partners so I got to socialize and visit more places. My partner asked me if I wanted to move in with full room and board, which I turned down but he was understanding so one day, I'll be able to take up his offer. I quit posting art on DA and IG, then came here, which was a great decision because I've found so many amazing mutuals in such little time. Went to my first concert (and 2 more). This academic term seems to be my best one yet in terms of workload and results

Average. Way too average. The only noteworthy things that happened this year is that I graduated with my Bachelor’s in comp e and moved out of my apartment. That’s about it. 2023 has been mostly a repetitive blur.

the first half of the year were some of my lowest moments ever mental-health wise but i wouldn’t call it the worst year, there was also a lot of great stuff! and afterall, i am doing a lot better now
i made some new friends <3
i reconnected with an old friend as well!! and we have a ton in common, she’s really great <3
i figured out my sexuality, came out to the people closest to me and all of them were really sweet about it <33 (also found out one of my relatives is actually queer herself :D)
i cleared up a lot of miscommunications with friends and started growing close to them again
i grew a looooot closer to my best friend and we cleared up a lot of stuff between us too <3

•I’d say pretty good, got some solid Ws here and there.
- Got my first webcomic gig online
- Got to visit Korea
- Doubled my IG follower count, it’s now like 500 holy shit
- Completed my first mural project
- Tried therapy (it works, had to stop because I’m broke af lmao)
Doesn’t seem like a lot, but considering that I’d left the army roughly a year ago (thanks for wasting my time, Singapore) they definitely beat every setback thus far

•One of my highlights is that I went to Brazil and Colombia with my brother and friends. We had an absolute blast. I visited my friend and family members in Texas. Also a blast
But honestly, despite the travelling bit, I consider it average because this has also been probably the most stressful year I had and health wise it hasn't been okay either. But congratulations on the raise and that you started dating! I'm glad you also have a pet!

•I’d say average because there were a lot of ups and downs overall that kind of balance each other out. Wasn’t the absolute best but it certainly wasn’t bad! It was a lot better than last year too. My lifelong anxiety problems have actually seen big improvement for the first time this year so that’s a win for me
School has been a giant pain though and I’m just more busy in general though. There’s a lot more going on in my life this year than usual tbh

•My highlights and achievements were meeting some friends after a lot of time, succeeding an exam of Ancient Greek in German with the highest score possible, watching "The Owl House" and "Arcane", learning how to cook tagliatelle and some other reciepes from my grandma, not feeling broken-hearted anymore, improving my drawing skills a lot, finally owning a very cool board game about printing comics (it's called "Age of Comics", discovering synthwave music, having a proper resting time during summer holidays, starting a Youtube channel and prepearing all videos in advance until September 2024, finding some very good Webtoons (especially "Dom&Mor" and "My sweet archenemy"), reading Dara Marks' "Character arc" (I don't know if this is the actual title in English) and gaining knowledge in story structure, going to the festival of old restored rare films in Bologns. Thanks for asking this question, I had not realised how many cool things I've done this year!
