I usually start with the sketch using a light pencil or an erasable colored pencil, then I do the lineart then erase the sketch, as for the coloring, if I draw them on vellum board, I choose either coloured pencils or alcohol markers but if I'm using watercolour paper, I use watercolour or those waterbased markers

It definitely depends on the medium someone is using! (Colored pencils, india inks, acrylic paint, etc.)

I’ll draw it with a pencil first, go over most of the pencil with Speedball Super Black Waterproof India Ink, & color it with Dr. Ph Martin’s Bombay India Inks Set 1!
If I wanted to use colored ink for my lineart, I’d erase the pencil so it’s barely visible OR have drawn everything digitally & trace my tablet screen’s drawing with the colored ink!

I usually do a pencil sketch yeah and then I use a pen to make line art. If you're looking to do likeless artwork then I have no idea what to do for that. Usually ink the sketch and then erase the pencil (if I feel like it) and then color with whatever I have

I usually start with a scetch (pencil or watercolor pencils if I don't want it to show through when working with watercolors) and then lighten it by slightly erasing over it.
Color it and then work over with outlines or more paint depending on what I'm going for.

I love clear outlines, so either I ink with black ink or I dilute some colored inks and work with those. The brand I use is waterproof after drying so watercolor works amazing on it

Usually I do a pencil sketch, then I ink it then color it. Other times, I trace everything with colored pencils and play around with some colored shading.. or, I do the initial sketch with colored pencil and ink over that, because it can give the piece a really nice effect!

I color directly on the original image. I only transfer the sketch to new paper if it has been damaged too much by then or I notice that I want to work with other paints for which the paper is unsuitable.

I work mostly with watercolors and my process is to sketch out the art, ink it with liners and then paint.
