Levi's pet monster, CadeCade may look human right now, but he's actually a draemiri (dray-MEER-ee), a mysterious shapeshifting creature capable of eating human flesh! 
Draemiri aren't native to earth, but they have a strained relationship with the humans they do contact in their natural territory.
Cade is an unusual draemiri though, since his upbringing made him uncomfortable with the idea of humans as food.
