Hope it isn't bad to make a historical figure into OC
I have some ideas, but this guy doesn't have much information so I fill in the blanks myself for an AU history.Some people seem to have mixed feelings about it because it's like I'm 'slandering history', but this guy has so much potential for a cool OC!! Would it be less "problematic" to base him on a real person 
Haven't thought so much about this, and so many variables. F eks is it an oc if it's a real person? And maybe depends on what kind of person x was, and how they are used in the new/alternative story? Not saying it's good or bad, and have seen examples of this before, just thinking out loud.
