SOSAny advice about how to go about fixing this (what clay to use, techniques, where to get good mosaic and the stuff that you put in-between, if I should use glue or not or if I just only use glue ect. )

Might make a text post about this but long story short the movers knocked over my new landlords vase she had for 40+ yrs. Its part of a 3pc set and obviously has some sentimental value so I told her daughter (who lives with her) I would see if I could fix it.

Its definitely fixable since it's a pretty clean break and some of the mosaics missing have been saved inside it so I'm fairly confident I can figure it out I just want it to look as seamless as possible.

Everything in me is screaming "Finish the job and smash them!" Not because they're not worth saving, but because breaking things is such stress relief 😁
OH NOOO, I hope you were able to get some help!
Is it gonna hold water, or stay dry?
If there is going to be water involved make sure to check if the glue you use can deal with that.

Other than that, there are special ceramic glues, as well as normal bonding glues that also work on ceramics/terracotta like this.

In anycase a trip to the hardware store is gonna be needed. You should be able to find glues that fit the bill there. As well as grout for filling the spaces between the tiles.
Going there and asking the staff if they could help you find the right materials should make it a lot easier ^-^
Bring a piece of the vase or fallen off tiles with grout with you to color match.

You are going to need:
- Glue for ceramics/terracotta (a small amount)
- Grout that matches the color of the grout already on the vase (make sure to ask for this and if they have swatches)
- Tile glue to stick the tiles down (ask what to use best for this, let it and the tiles you stuck down with it dry before adding the grout)
- Try to pick up as many of the fallen off tiles as possible and remove the grout on them (a stiff brush and a blunt knife or such should do the trick)
- some paper and a pencil to map out the pattern you’ll need to re-create before you start gluing tiles down

Hope this helps~
@cozmos ? I figured you might know a thing or two about it?
