Vase update!A really big thank you @mithiell for all your help, you made this feel possible in my brain.
I glued the pieces together with a super strong glue the people at home Depot suggested and then glued all the mosaic down (after some struggle figuring out the puzzle of where they all went) and I'm only missing one piece.
It looks pretty messy but the plan was to fill all the small gaps with new grout except the grout dried way lighter than expected on the test spot.
Im wondering at this point if it would be cheaper to get new grout or to get something that would somehow make it a bit darker and a tad more tan.
Google suggests iron oxide pigmen which I wouldn't even know what color to get to make it a perfect match.
Otherwise I also read that theres tints you can add but I'm worried that might look weird if only a few spots are tinted and it won't look right.
Anyways I'll probably be making another trip to home Depot Sunday regardless lolApr 24, 2026
