Why do you draw?

It's fun. Whenever I got nothing to do I just pick up a pen and draw. It's my go-to distraction.
Also, I find it really cool how you can just create pretty pictures out of nowhere. :)

Nothing else to do and also to prove that not everyone who makes art has any passion or value for it and that it doesn't always take any effort, skill or time.

Started as a coping thing and then snowballed and now I just do it because I really really enjoy it

It's too expensive to pay other people to draw my ocs and they not going to draw themselves

I like drawing because it's so weird to me how I can have a thought, and then by dragging a stick on a piece of cut up tree, I have made a physical thing from my thoughts

Mental health. I used to draw and write all the time in high-school and it got me through a lot but I fell off in college and once I started my career. When covid started and I wasn't working I decided to try taking it seriously again and it's help me so much. Literally my favorite thing to focus on. If I could do it all day, I would.

I do it to express my feelings, fight boredom, depict my characters/stories, and make myself at peace with my world.

I like to bring my ideas to life and i have alot of ideas oh and its just something that makes me feel happy and i hope by making art it also makes others happy and its fun

It's fun to put my ideas and stories down on paper. It makes me feel calm and helps me relax too.
Oh and also, it keeps my hands busy. My hands need to be occupied 24/7

I draw because I love playing around with stories/characters and being able to bring my ideas to life with images.

There's many reasons why I draw. But it all boils down that I just can't help myself. I love it, it's my passion. I need to let out my imagination. I draw for therapeutic reasons too, and also to grow as an artist.

well i like 100% started drawing for attention and some of that is still kind of a plague but now I'd just kind of like to be able to put funny little guys on paper and make friend about it. and survive and stuff <3
