I've only been here for a hot minute, but I'm so glad I discovered and joined Artfol. It reminds me of the old deviantArt before Eclipse. I don't have to worry about feeding the social media beast, I just post art, check out other cool art and just vibe with other creatives.
And the COMMUNITY. Everyone is so nice here! And not a bot in sight! At this point I want Artfol to become more popular but I'm kinda dreading it too because with popularity come the bots, weirdos, scammers and art thieves.Nov 23, 2022

Artfol already saw art thieves before the app was even publicly released.
We’ve already seen scammers/weirdos (search “elf guy,” “dwarf guy,” “elf/dwarf guy,” “tyrande,” “dwarfsupremacist,” “elenwen,” “spirtomb1831”) in the searchbar or even maybe on Google for more about that elf-fetish mining, art thieving, scamming, Belgian creep. (Yes, these terms are all for ONE PERSON.)
We’ve seen waves of porn bots on here before, as well as the scammers you’d expect to see on Instagram.
I haven’t seen any art thieves recently, but there’s been at least 50 on here so far.
The thing about Artfol is that most users don’t like these type of users. These problem users usually break Artfol’s TOS, & with Developers who care about their platform, they manually check the reports & usually ban these accounts. We’ve actually been told to report bot & scammer accounts when we see them by one of the Devs too!
