My friend hosted a dtiys that flopped so ig here are some ways to help it not do that:
Promote that shit like your life depends on it.
Make a new art friend? « Hey I have a dtiys going on »
Instagram bio? « Dtiys ongoing »
Make a tiktok about it, mention it casually in conversation, whatever it takes to make sure eVERYONE knows you have a dtiys /hyp
Ask any artist friends you do have if they’d be willing to participate!
If you can get one of those accs that shares dtiys to share yours that’d be great
Also: make sure the drawing is interesting!! If it’s of an OC, make sure the drawing catches people’s eye even if they have never seen your OC before in their life
Set an end date!!! Don’t let it just fizzle out, make it competitive. Give a reward or smth (I’ve seen shoutouts and free commissions as rewards before)
Only create it when you have a solid idea for it!! You won’t want strangers redrawing that shitty idea you thought of at 3am.

•For creating the concepts: you want an interesting concept that will make ppl wanting to engage, but don't make it too complicated or else people will be deterred from participating. Maybe integrate unique colours or a specific pose to interest ppl.
In terms of hosting: you'll want to create a set of specific rules for participants to follow. Maybe make a prize for a potential winner of the dtiys. Either way, it's really all up to you and whatever you want. Hope this helps :)
