Can you recall why did you pick the theme you love to draw? Why you draw humans or creatures or something else?
The reason why I became an animal artist, because I wanted to show everyone how beautiful the animal kingdom is and how rich it is. Dragons and myth beasts because since they don't exist there's no accuracy, so as a kid I felt I could do literally anything. I also used to draw animals from time to time because I love nature and how diverse and exotic some animals are

Lol, I'll tell u why I almost exclusively draw anthro or non humans. I seem to have some sort of low tier facial blindness, which means I can't really recognize people until I know them well. Or until they talk. And this unfortunately transfers over to art. So non humans work better for me cause they can have really obvious defining features. And well, non humans are really fun to draw as well, I've come to enjoy it quite a lot. And now I no longer look at my characters, wondering why they all look the same.

I draw a lot of stuff but I keep going back to drawing people. There's just something so interesting about us that I can't point out. From knights in armour, cowboys, and normal city folk I find it a challenge to capture the essence of their character. It just so satisfying to see how we change with the times.

i saw these really nice orc dude when i was like, 12 and i’ve been in love ever since, i also like to draw anthros because my sister had this how to draw furries book and im like this is kinda cool! i wanna draw animal people

I solely used to draw cats and dogs and then someone pointed it out and asked I didn’t want to be seen as a furry when I was younger I stopped and drew more humans and other animals now I don’t remember if I drew cats and dogs anymore

I don't know, I guess since people are hard and i was never happy about drawing them. So animal were the next option

I guess I never wanted to learn human anatomy. But I also think most art involving humans is boring.
Though I remember the exact moment I wanted to learn how to paint stuff. There was a painting of a tiny cat on a spoon in a soup dish (empty). I wanted that so badly on my wall. I have never seen the art ever again. I searched for years. No artist, no photo of the art. It was in a school book and I was maybe 7 or 8? It's my ultimate goal. I will retire with this painting. Until then I need to get better.

I have similar reasons. I draw the things I do because I love them (other things cause I'm inspired). I stared drawing cause I wanted to wow people like art did for me. The subjects have changed but the bottom reason is that I want people to see things I love the way I see them. Maybe they'll love them too. I'm not good with words so I hope I can portray what I mean by painting it.

I don't have a specific medium of art; I love drawing both animals, humans, and creatures! I really love stories and writing and I express that through my art

I cannot say with certainty that there is this one big answer to why I gravitate towards drawing the human body. Some factors might have played into it;
I was given a lot of those coloring books with cute girls in it, hench why I probably prefer drawing females over males.
I helped my sister who also drew people, which probably has an impact.
I tried to dip my toe into the anthro art style and very quickly found out it was not my thing.
I´ve always likes making stories with human characters (and some fantastical creatures!) since its easier for me to relate to people than it is to animals.

I primarily draw humanoids because I didn't want to portray my newer stories with anthro characters. I also largely lost touch with the furry community,and simply preferred human faces.

I started with Pokémon and avoided humans at first, but my favourite shows, especially Voltron, made me want to draw their characters. Then I started reading a lot of Klance comics on instagram and wanted to make one myself one day (never did that, now I have ocs instead)

I started drawing because I really liked the anime style!! I know that's typical, but I used to put on Netflix anime's and pause it so I could trace them with paper..

In middle school two old friends of mine got me deep into the Naruto rabbit hole... It's never been the same since honestly lol. I am now trying to go back to pre-Naruto by drawing creatures since animals and Pokemon really got me into art in the first place.
