Lyari Valbella~ The Rogue Princess
Welcome to my lore corner!! I apologize for taking so long with this post but I promise it was worth the wait! There’s a lot to cover so let’s get started, shall we?There are 3 main overarching elven bloodlines residing within the western forests. (Gardenia having the second highest ranking out of the 3)
Each forest has what’s considered its own aura boundary (controlled by the rulers/elders of each region) and there is a small spring\lake with a large Aura Blossom tree in the middle of the three factions for the elders to meet at least once each season and discuss their respective regions…
Lyari Valbella is Gardenian royalty, she had been raised within Gardenias boundary for as long as she could remember.
Her family mainly consists of high ranking elves or warriors, although, she never understood the appeal of having people do things for her… she wanted to choose her own path and hobbies.
Lyari yearns for independence, a life away from home, she seeks adventure and true freedom to do whatever she desires with her life.
She had many siblings and she always felt unheard as one of the youngest out of the group, her siblings were often the ones taking care of her, though they never really seemed to like doing it either, she felt like a burden to her family…
Well everyone except her older sister Elora, also known as the head commander for Gardenias armed forces.
Half the time, her own family wouldn’t even notice that she was gone. They only took note when they were notified by the various staff. As the years went on she got better and better at running away from home without notice.
The Gardenias royal bloodline has very distinct pure white hair and tend to connect well with the trees. (They worship the aura blossoms and hold festivals in honor of them blooming every spring) Lyari developed her royal sigil at the age of 12 and became fully aware of its effects at the age of 16, leaving her 2 years to develop her newfound skills and make a plan to finally leave Gardenia for good! It was time, being confined within the boundary for 18 years was far long enough, she left behind a letter for her favorite siblings state of mind and shrugged off the previous relationships which had been standing in her way…
Lyari was gifted the sigil of residual life, meaning she can use her sigil to scan for any trace of life left behind. That could be a bunny that ran away or a plant that’s dying because it was stepped on recently. It’s kinda like a thermal scope in her left eye but more intricate if that makes sense? Like she can adjust the type of life forms she’s searching for, it helps that she’s a seasoned hunter trained by her sister, everything she knows she learned it from her… (works well for her bounty hunting work)
Sigil- A sigil can be found randomly upon any elves body, each sigil will develop differently depending on the persons lifestyle or passions.(Sigils are meant to add a balance of power but some have used them for corruption in the past)
Royal Sigil- A gift from the forest given to those who are of royal blood, they are extremely useful in comparison to regular sigils that only help mildly in day to day lives.
