Work in progressHi! I need advice. I don't feel like the eyes are working in this piece but for the character in the show the nine red eyes are very important for the character. I don't NEED to show the eyes but I would like to and the positioning of them here, doesn't feel right. Do y'all have any suggestions?
Another question: I struggle with the brightness of my pieces. I figured I have to make the midtones of the piece lighter for it to work but I feel like it loses some of the dramatic lighting that I really love doing for my art. I'm not really sure why I can see the colors better on the screen on my laptop than anywhere else but I'm pretty sure it's some tech that I didn't figure out yet. Any help or tips are very appreciated!!Jan 29, 2021

For the eyes, perspective seems a bit off compared to the cards. Try drawing some grid lines based on the position of the cards and draw eyes according to them. Also, they might be too blurry? The rest of the drawing is made of clear lines, so maybe that's why the eyes stand out so much. I hope this helped! Great work, btw :)
