[America]Comes from Native American folklore. It is a man-eating dragon that was depicted as large as a calf, having horns like a roebuck, red eyes, a beard like a tiger, body covered in scales and a tail so long that it passed entirely around the body over the head and between the legs, ending like a fish. Its face was something like that of a human. It could easily carry away a deer.
