She lives in the same universe as Yara, my pink haired oc, they started out as petty rivals but got used to each other later on.They live on a futuristic post apocalyptic planet and they go to an academy that teaches students how to survive .it’s still a very vague story but I really like the characters . ALSO I NEED TO STOP DRAWING SO MANY PORTRAITSMay 1, 2022

Wow this is beautiful! I love the split dyed hair, and the outfit is extremely cool. I personally wouldn't have added the swirls on her left sleeve but I love the pearls. They match her hair ties perfectly and the feathers are perfection.

yo there’s already a lot of improvement here compared to the piece of yara, so good job! i can tell youve been putting in the work :^D
the one thing that sticks out to me is that there’s a lot of detail in her outfit, and while that isnt exactly a bad thing, its important to consider how much of it is necessary. for example, the pattern on the cuff of her sleeve is so small that its barely visible in this bust view, which means it will be borderline impossible to see in fullbody. the pearls(?) on the collar are also a little confusing, at least to me, and again i’d imagine theyd be a little difficult to see from afar.
my main recommendations are to try to design the whole outfit in fullbody and really fine-tune some of the elements. they dont need to be full coloured illustrations, just do some simple sketches (or even use bases, after all the focus is designing the outfit so the body doesnt really matter) and try to figure out what you want the general shape/design to be.
think about the setting of the story. you already mentioned that its futuristic and postapocalyptic, but go further. what is the weather like? are there any hazards that the characters need to worry about (for example, maybe since its postapocalyptic there could be issues with gas or radiation)? since theyre in school, is there a uniform? also since this girl and yara are in the same main cast and will likely be seen together a lot, it could help to make sure that their colours complement one another and that their designs look good together. and whats this girl’s personality like? is she sharp and cold? is she shy and modest? is she chaotic and always saying quips and one-liners? try to express her personality in her outfit!

•I love the character design! The hair is pretty extraordinary and the face seems really cool! I like the over all design of the outfit! However, if you're planning on making a comic out of that story, maybe having so many details wouldn't help, as you would have to draw the character over and over again (still, this is only if u make a comic)
