Barbarian Chilling On His Throne (work in progress)

I started this in my figure drawing class back in October. Our model was originally holding a pole, but then he told us he had a broadsword and throwing axes in his car. The sword won. As he was also holding a skull, I immediately pictured a barbarian warrior sitting on his throne with his latest trophy. The boar skull was an extra addition I put in as I was sketching the background. The model liked it so much, that he said he wanted a similar throne for his house.Nov 10, 2021
