Happy October, fam squad!! Autumn is my favorite season; there’s nothing quite like picking apples and pumpkins, hayrides, corn mazes, bonfires, and hot cider on a chilly day!! This illustration marks the official start of my spooky/fall-themed art, and I decided to celebrate with my best gal Audrey. She may look a bit unrecognizable here, just because of the fact that I finally updated her hairstyle!! Audrey canonically has blonde curls, and I thought that this look suited her and her energetic, feisty nature even more. Since I’ve been developing Audrey as the main character of a novel I’m writing, I wanted to begin to align her in-story design with how she appears my artwork. This will hopefully make things less confusing overall as I make more progress in my writing, and it of course means that her lover {my gf’s OC} Rémy will be getting a special glow-up as well!! His crow form is very symbolic in my novel, as is the fact that his feathers are as white as fresh snowfall. Regardless of the story or universe they are partaking in, the AudRémy ship shall exist in full~!!
