Happy New Year, fam squad!! I hope you’ve been having a healthy and joyful 2024 so far; I’m late, but I couldn’t resist making an illustration honoring the Lunar New Year in my own way!! {I’m a rabbit, and I’m already feeling the shift in energy as my year draws to a close…}

Last year was exhausting to me, and this month has caused me a lot of inner conflict and introspection about my art and what I want to create in the future. For the devoted followers who have been keeping up with my artwork for The Changeling Heir, I want to say that I will be continuing development on this project and will continue drawing Audrey, Rémy, and other beloved characters!! However, I am going to be focusing on a new project this year, which shall be revealed at a later date. The Changeling Chronicles is going to be a very in-depth and long series of novels, so I want to write a shorter duology {or perhaps trilogy} first, in my attempt to be a published author. I also want to create and sell paintings this year; please consider my account slakpaints on Instagram if you would like to see the artwork I have for sale!! Hopefully, I’ll be able to open an online shop this year, but for now I’ll be taking things one step at a time.
