Tell me, what's your most unpopular headcanon? It can both be a "nothing supports this " take or a "I can fully defend this within the canon but i wouldn't dare bring it up to fans" take, but you are willing to defend it if you have to. I'll start:
Rose Quartz in Steven Universe was fully straight. Not a bisexual light refraction to be found in that gem.
I gain absolutely nothing from this take, I'm a bisexual trans masc person, and I base it primarily on the song "it's over" because Pearl specifies that she was fine with the MEN that came into Rose's life. No mention of women. And honestly I don't think Rose ever saw Pearl fully as an individual, even less a genuine love interest. You can argue that gems are non-binary by default BUT Rose gave herself a FULL makeover and went a LOT more traditionally female presenting on that one. So if I have to, I'll say assigned nb trans femme AND MY POINT STANDSJun 29, 2025
