Just a general reminder I'm gonna post everywhere lol: AI scammers are growing at an alarming rate. I noticed it on deviantART but I'm not surprised if it extends elsewhere.
AI generated comments by bot accounts on art posts will make the artist/writer think the person is interested in their work, but then they will later ask to "discuss outside" of dA, and there may be scam/suspicious links happening. I'm not going to find out and accidentally give away my account and personal details!!
You can tell it's AI by the way it suddenly changes from proper grammar to bad. And the way they write is very CoPilot. (I don't use it but I have experimented with my sibling to see the extent of its intelligence)
So be careful and not simply trust strangers. Avoid clicking links from them, and don't give your work to them.Jun 21, 2025
