Well, as for the art of this year I wanted to feature another ace character of mine, Nachelle. I've drawn her in the past, she even makes a short apleance in my webcomic, Espero, but this is the first time that I mention she's ace here on Artfol. (I've done ace art with her in the past, but never posted it here)
Truth about her is that she's just now questioning wether she's ace or not. This happens after a conversation with a friend who has very similar feelings as she does, but Nachelle is not very honest about herself because she doesn't experience her situation in the same way. Her friend is not interested in neither romance or sex (at least not yet) and said friend never had a partner in her life, while Nachelle had several relationships during her lifetime, she enjoyed having relationships and currently she's casually dating somebody. But, when she talks to her other friends about relationships she just realized she doesn't feel about her partners in the same way her friends do about theirs.
She realizes that maybe she's never been attracted to any of them and she's never been in love either.
Right now Nachelle is very confused, but she wants to keep this things to herself. She wants to figure out things on her own because these feelings are to private to share, but mostly because she feels like nobody will relate to her.
Not all ace people feel the same about be who they are and all experiences are different. It's ok if you don't have things fully figured out, you can still be part of ace week
