Well it helps that I'm too stupid to do that. My tablet app can't do it easily and on PC I don't understand the curve.

Yep, with my sona in particular. The solution: Fighting Game alternate color schemes. I change her color scheme when I get bored to one of the other schemes I liked for a while.

That happened to me once. I wanted to give a character brown eyes, but it blended in with her eyes too much, so I just gave her blue eyes. I didn't want to give her blue eyes, because it felt too generic to me.

oh yea I used to have tons of versions for a single art, but I've learned how to settle to one

This is a very big struggle because like 3/4 of my characters are various creatures like dragons etc so I have the entire colour wheel at my disposal and I like ALL OF THE COLOURS so I end up with 300 versions of the same rainbow coloured lizard
