Love LanguageLittle comic featuring Agnieszka getting a little something from her sprout Hellmuth for mother‘s day uwu
As some of you may know, she works her dream job in IT in the 60s/70s, so reading/writing punched tape is a daily occurrence to her. Hellmuth has no idea if he found the right coding language (and neither do I, Baudot is just the only one I could find that had the complete alphabet explained on the web hhhh
), but it‘s the thought that counts I guess. They‘ll spend the day with Agnieszka‘s favorite books on the topic and they‘ll be having a blast, the nerdiness runs in the family.

They‘ve got to celebrate two mother‘s days, the german AND the polish one, so I guess Hellmuth‘s going to research yet another language for his next card very soon. His father could theoretically help him out, but he loves to see his son struggle- I mean, learn independence by finding stuff himself.

I tried to keep this comic a bit more doodle styled, cause I wanna find a quicker „side-style“ to work on side-projects like these, so I don‘t rob myself of time and energy I‘d rather spend on their main-comic (which I can already barely do tbh, the last proper page was done in November of last year hhhh). It does look a little weird imo, cause while I did do the lines rather doodly and quick, the coloring is nearly as clean as my usual style and it just clashes for my eyes and it doesn’t look intentionally doodly anymore and more like I was just lazy with the lines. I enjoyed working on this more than on my usual pages and love to see my OCs in the final thing though, so that‘s already half the rent
I need to become more confident in just doing messy coloring/try out more brushes that fit the doodle vibe.
