Galvus, King of Rogues
Figured it was high time I work on a new drawing of my baddest OC, the elven thief Galvus. Galvus was easily my most powerful character from my old D&D days many years ago. Beginning as a simple elven thief, Galvus survived on his wits as he honed his skills. Becoming a master of the thieving arts, he simultaneously became a specialist in both armed and unarmed combat, and is particularly deadly with his favored weapon, a single dagger. In addition to his own natural skills, Galvus is a walking arsenal of magical weapons, items, and abilities, including (but not limited to) his magical poisonous dagger, his concealed elven chain mail armor which affords him immunity to all forms of dragon breath, his ivory wolf statuette which will - at his command - transform into a giant ice-breathing wolf, and his own innate magical ability to transform himself into a fire-breathing hellhound. Additionally, even though he still wears the eye patch, he has replaced his missing right eye with a powerful artifact eye that has powers I don't even remember because it's been so long since I played. That's okay, he's my property and I'll just make it up.May 15, 2025Comments
Whoa, he’s awesome! I can imagine the D&D was a lot of fun, too!! I’ve never played but it always seems like a good time!

•Hot dang, Galvus sounds and looks completely bad-arse. I don't want to get into his bad side at all o-o Also, I didn't notice the ear problem until now
but I think it's fine! I love the dagger!

•Ugh, now that I've finished this and posted it, NOW I can see how much I effed up his ear. Proportionally, I messed a few things up, but I didn't spend the kind of time on this drawing that I normally do, so I can live with that. But that ear just keeps calling out to me, mocking me. Normally (I think) I do a pretty good job with ears. Not on the ghost of Leonard Nimoy here. No, I gave my man Ginsu gills. Those wind cutters belong on the back end of a '57 Chevy, not on the head of the deadliest craftsman of close-range combat in all the realms. Okay, that might be a little dramatic, but I just woke up I'm currently fighting a sinus infection that's got me all congested and my head hurting, so I'm already annoyed
. Anyway, try to ignore the ear,.now that I've drawn all kinds of attention to it
